Technology Good or Evil?

• Group's overall essential question how are people’s beliefs shaped by culture?
• My research question connected to essential question: How has technology made people feel safer or endangered?
• The debate over privacy and technology has frequently flaring in the past few years. Many people feel that all of the technology and surveillance in place today makes them safer, but others feel that it is very unsettling. By researching this topic I am hoping to discover whether I like the extra protection, or want to be without all of the dangers that surveillance bring. Things like GPS, Online Accounts, and IPass are revealing personal information as we speak, but many people are willing to sacrifice their information for the short-term benefits they give.
