The end of mythology.

How did Greek Mythology end?

These were good sources because they had the best reviews.

The greek religion Greek Mythology ended in the 9th century in the Mani Peninsula area of Greece, where the last pagans (person with religious beliefs)  were converted. The religion was dying out because of the rise of the non-native cults, particularly Christianity for hundreds of years.

However, it is hard to know when the religion had died out because each city had its own stories and heroes, there wasn’t a single unified religion.

After Christianity had become the official religion, the Byzantine emperors banned the old ways, and the penalties for opposing the law became permanent. This was the beginning of the end the polytheists

The real maze and ship?

Is there any evidence that Greek mythology myths were real?

http://www.history.com/topics/ancient-history/greek-mythology/videos/odysseus-ship
These are good sources because the site has a lot of good reliable historical facts that teachers trust and use.

According to the myth, King Minos was cursed and his stepson was born as a monster, half bull half man, the minotaur. Minos was furious and made an evil plan. He turned to his inventor Daedalus and made an evil plan: the labyrinth. A prison without prison bars and it was so vast, that even the inventor Daedalus himself would barely be able to escape. Today, there is an ancient underground quarry that has winding passages 2 miles that has no patterns or anything. Locals say that this cave is eerily similar to a monster’s lair: the minotaur.

In 1988, 2 scuba divers found an ancient vessel that is 60 feet long and 30 feet wide: the biggest ancient vessel ever found. The ship dates back to 500 B.C. within 2 centuries of the Odyssey. Researches compare to how the ship was build. The results were a perfect match, same way of how the ship was built described by homer.

Spreading the Greek love

New Research Question: How did Greek Mythology spread to so many people?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greek_mythology
These are reliable sources because they have the best reviews.
It started from Ancient Greece and then slowing beginning to spread through religion, wars, and art. A religion example is ancient Egypt, where each egyptian god had a corresponding greek god with similar powers. A war example is ancient Rome. When the romans conquered Greece they fancied the religion and the civilization so they adopted the same gods and myths. The reason why mythology spread so widely is because it was a big part of the civilization and lifestyle. The arts were myths, theater, religion, festivals, and even the Olympic Games, all had to do with a myth or another.

During the 18th century reaction against Greek myth spread throughout Europe, the myths provided an important source of material for artists, poets, operas and more. By the end of the 18th century Romanticism started a surge of enthusiasm for all things related to Greek, including Greek Mythology. American authors during the 19th century said that the study of the classical myths were essential to the understanding of English and American literature.

The Greek Modernization

How did Greek Mythology affect modernization?
This is a good and reliable source because it has good supportive reviews.

There are many Greek influences on our culture today. These impacts however, are not widely known in our society. Greek cultures affects our everyday life, because they created: democracy, the alphabet, libraries, the Olympics, math, science, architecture, and even lighthouses. Greeks created things that were well made before their time such as democracy. This political system started in Athens, where it started as a Monarch, then grew to the point where a small group of people had control of the country until it finally started a Democracy. The Olympic games were influenced by Greek mythology. The Olympic games occurred once every four years, and they originated in Greece. These games were held in honor of Zeus, God of all Gods. The Olympics however were not the only game held in honor of the Gods. The Pythian games were held in favor of Apollo, and the Isthiam games were held in honor of Poseidon. Today we still celebrate the Olympic Games, and many things are similar such as awarding someone olive leaf crowns and opening and closing ceremonies.

Another way Greek mythology influences our culture is the architecture. Ancient Greece came up with the idea of using pillars. Greek mythology played a role in architecture because there were many temples and other holy plays built for worshipping Gods and Goddesses. These building were designed to look beautiful, and they did. When Rome overtook Greece, it made it’s own form of Greek Architecture using the pillars on their own buildings.

What can the U.S. do to make healthcare more affordable and accessible to more Americans?

Have you ever wondered about the health care of the U.S. to the Americans? Is there a way; so that the United States could make the healthcare more affordable and accessible towards more Americans? What can the U.S. do to make healthcare more affordable and accessible to more Americans?

Well; here are some facts and ideas about how the U.S. can improve the healthcare affordability and accessibility.

The U.S. healthcare availability and accessibility delays.
According to the resource, ScienceDaily.com, although sophisticated medical technology is already available in healthcare systems in developed countries, further advances are constantly being made. There is a good healthcare system in the U.S.; although; it is the affordability and accessibility of it that is questionable.

What the U.S. can do to make the healthcare more affordable and accessible to the Americans:

  • The U.S. can start to make the healthcare systems more organized; this will help with this availability aspect of the situation.
  • Allowing the insurance to pay more, or be a part of this procedure will help with the cost of the whole process. This will help with the affordability aspect of this situation.
  • The U.S. could have these two things together; which will definitely help with the affordability and the accessibility of the healthcare systems to the Americans in the U.S.

The Biggest Cheater Of Them All?

How is Albert Bell a bad roll model for future baseball players?

Espn.com

Albert Bell is one of baseballs biggest cheaters because he would cork his bat and run into players to prevent outs. According to espn.go.com Albert bell is an all time cheater. He denied corking his bat, which is  process of making a bat out of lighter materiel allowing the batter to swing faster and possibly hitting the ball farther. Also, in baseball players that are running from one base to another have a designated running path which players shouldn't leave. Albert would usually leave this path while running to another base and knock over a member of the other team to try and prevent multiple outs.
Analysis:

I think that a player who would cheat so much and so constantly should be ejected from playing baseball permanently because players like Albert Bell ruin the game itself and also corrupt it. Even the he retired he should have been ejected.

Questions:
1) Do you think it is worth cheating so much?
2) Should he be respected as an MLB player?
3) Does he deserve to be in the MLB?

Does where you live affect how healthy you are?

Obesity; the condition of being very fat or overweight; corpulence.  According to worldobesity.org , obesity is an increasing problem around the world.  Children more than anyone are affected by the terrifying and deadly wave, even more than adults.  Why is this?  What factors play into how healthy you are where you live? Why is so much of the world’s youth either undernourished or obese?  All these questions really depend on the countries themselves and how much the government is involved in their citizen’s nutrition.

What places around the world have the highest obesity rates?
Today, I heard a girl in the hall talking about how “fat” she is and how she lost 5 pounds last month, even though she was very much skinny and not “fat” at all.  A school we learn about how much we are supposed to exercise and what foods we should be eating.  Because of this, many teens and kids are unfortunately concerned about obesity and what they look like.  The U.S.’s culture has definitely spread the image of looking like models and what you are supposed to look like.  Here in the U.S., we have one of the biggest epidemics of obesity around the world.  With 35.2% of girls, 33.2% of boys,  33.3% of men, and 35.8% of women are obese in the United States.  This can cause many other health related problems in the future for each individual who is obese.  Because the U.S. is a very industrialized and prosperous country, almost everyone can afford a lot of food.  But even when you have enough to eat it might not be as healthy as you think.  When you think of America what comes to mind? Mac and Cheese? Hamburger and french fries?  Chicago style hotdog? Doughnuts and Hershey chocolate bars? This all is the “norm” from fast food to restaurants.  Because we grew up on that Kraft Mac&Cheese we are more likely to serve it to our children, even though you know its not good for you.
http://www.fitnistics.com/control-obesity-kids/
What places around the world has no obesity at all?
Places around the world that do not have stable governments, or prosperous economies have the lowest rate of obesity.  Take Senegal for example.  0.1% of boys and 0.4% of girls are obese!  Because poverty levels and the economic state of the country is not great, many people are undernourished and have much less to eat.  Compared to the United States, these statistics are crazy.  The moto “one man’s trash, is another man’s treasure,” really comes into play because we have so much food we throw away, while others are starving and trying to live.

Teens are changing to violence!

Television is making teens more violent which can lead to a lot of bullying and problems with in the daily lives of teens. We look to www.livestrong.com for the answer and this is a reliable source because it has many writers who are experts on health and fitness.
  1. Teens are becoming more aggressive from watching some things on the television.
  2. Most of the things that teens are watching have extreme amounts of violence, such as gun fights, fists fight, etc.
  3. Does Violence on Television Cause Aggressive Behavior in Teens?
Being exposed to this much violence can change how teens think or anyone in general. It can manipulate the way people live in everyday life.
  4. According to www.livestrong.com a average teen watches 20,000 hours of television by the time they graduate highschool. The average amount of violent and abrupt scenes that are watch in an hour are 20-25. This adds up to a lot of exposure to this violence.
  5. People in their teen years are usually looking for a role model to look up to. And nowadays kids find role models on the television, some of this role models are people that are doing many violent acts and are dangerous, thrill seeking, and tough. This can lead to a bad influence on the teens.
  6. Teens are absorbing the content passively without even trying so even if they think it isn’t changing their thought, it is slowly.
  7. Managing watch teens are watching may not be their first choice, but it can definitely benefit the people in the long run.
  8. Another thing to protect the teens from is watching movie before they are allowed to. When a producer of a movie sets the age limit for a movie to be watched, it should be followed because it is there for the safety of the people.
  9. Scary movies are a leading cause of violence on television because they show acts of pure insanity
  10. Teens are changing because of what they are watching

How Fashion Developed Through the Years!

When meeting a new person, the first thing anyone does is check out a person’s image. They look at their face, and then look at what their wearing. Everyone says don’t judge a book by its cover, but each day we continue to do so because its normal for our society, its what we are used to. Believe it or not humans are creatures of habit and that not going to change so most people try to fit in with the “ norm” so we are accepted into our modern day society.

molempire,.com
Fashion is how we establish ourselves around our peers and colleagues. Way back when Adam and Eve were around we didn’t wear any clothes. Soon after that, we wore clothing for functional purposes such as protecting our bodies from the sun and nature. Relatively soon after wearing our clothes for just function Native Americans tribes wore certain clothing for everyday work and special occasions. Some clothing was believed to have spiritual meanings and powers or the clothing was based off different cultures.  These ancient traditions were carried over into Western culture. From there,  clothing began to diversify. The style of clothing you wear are how you  illustrate what type of person you are part of. Also, clothing became a way of marking social groups. If you are part of the government you wore more formal attire. If you are a farm girl you wore casual, comfortable clothing. Clothing was a big part of the feminist movement.

The famous poster of Rosie the Riveter is a great example on how developed themselves and played a big role in their society. The poster of Rosie was created when women were operating everyday jobs in the U.S. We took a big leap into a new era where women weren’t useless housewives, they were important figures just like men! On the poster Rosie is wearing a functional blue shirt and no decorative earring. She has her hair tied back and on on the illustration it is reads,”We Can Do It”. “Rosie the Riveter is important because it diffused a whole new idea of women and their dress on a massive scale.” Women after that didn't like the “norm” and wanted change. Ever since then women have a larger idea of what fashion is normal.

Starting in 20th century, fashion became even bigger as social media became popular. All women want to be in style and what better way to keep in style than dressing like a celebrity or model. Fashion designers took their daring looks and made them into spectacular new trends all became someone like Beyonce or Kate Upton started wearing them. The development of more fashion has made our economy a million times better because you don’t need a variety of clothes but they are irresistible new trends coming out every second that you can’t resist. “Clothing has evolved from a purely functional personal item to one of great creative significance, a tool we use to establish, express, and convey multiple aspects of our identity.”Fashion is bigger and bolder than before. “Clothing does speak”

How much is too much?

You're not the only one that suffers from anxiety, even celebrities do. This source is reliable because they had direct quotes from Amanda.
http://img23.fansshare.com
Celebrities are looked up to by most of society, so it should not come as a shock to hear that even celebrities suffer from anxiety. Since they also suffer from anxiety, it shows us that they too “have issues with their weight, their look, and even with the silliest things.” I believe that being in the limelight and being watched on by so many people may play a major role in having an anxiety disorders.

One actress that is among the many that struggles with anxiety is Amanda Seyfried. She has told many people about how she goes to therapy to try and prevent panic attacks. According to Amanda, a panic attack usually happens when there is something major and or important coming up. One thing that makes her nervous is telling people that she takes medication for anti-anxiety. By Amanda confessing to what I am sure is very relevant in Hollywood, and telling people about what she does to prevent her anxiety attacks, is inspiring to people with it because it might make them see that they need to get help and that it isn’t embarrassing if you need help. Also by Amanda talking about what she does to solve them can inform people on what the possible choices are.

Actors are more prone to anxiety because they have very “active minds.” This could be an issue because when the self criticism becomes serious and hurtful it can lead into serious issues such as anxiety or panic attacks. In Amanda's case even though she is doing therapy and taking anti-anxiety medication she still gets nervous about little things, this shows that anxiety is a very hard thing to live with.
What is the main trigger to a panic attack?

Pets Are Our Real Medicine

Instead of taking bad drugs to lower stress levels and hardships, how about getting a dog? Maybe another fury friend? Just care for them, and you'll see the difference.

In this post, I seek to find the answer to the question, how does interaction between humans and animals effect how we live?

http://thepetproductguru.com/
Authors Lawrence Robinson and Jeanne Segal write about the positive effects of pet ownership (mostly with dogs). These authors both wrote for healthguide.org, which is a well trusted site for both mental health and a person's well-being.

1) Dogs, and even cats, bring great joy to humans. It has been proven that dogs can "ease loneliness, reduce stress, anxiety, and depression, promote social interaction, encourage exercise and playfulness, and provide unconditional love and affection." (Robinson and Segal). This then proves that owning a fury friend can make a bad day feel better. I agree with this observation because, from experience, just holding your animal can bring warmth and love quickly and the bad day seems to fade away.

2) Dogs have been scientifically proven to evolve in knowing how humans feel. It's like telling your dog to "sit" and they do, because they have adapted to learn what we say. Many may argue that their pets don't know what they are saying because they don't sit when they say "sit", but dogs are able to determine what the owner is saying by watching their gestures. Dogs are proven to be "even better at interpreting our tone of voice, body language" and our hand movements (Robinson and Segal). This statement is one I believe is true because my dog cannot distinguish what I am saying when I say "sit" or "down", but she knows to sit when I put my hand up in the air and to lie down when I put my hand palm-down.

3) Petting, touching, stroking, and even hugging your pet can make a huge difference in how you behave and your attitude. Their genuine happiness makes humans feel a great release of stress and depression after interacting with their pet. It has also been proven that "hardened criminals in prison have shown long-term changes in their behavior after interacting with dogs, many of them experiencing mutual affection for the first time." (Robinson and Segal). With experience, whenever I have a tough time with friends or I get a bad grade on a test, I scoop up my cats and give them a big hug. This sends a great deal of warmth through my veins and I almost forget about the bad day I had.

4) Dogs, and other animals as well, can give owners a better view of a healthier lifestyle in their future and what's good versus wrong. Even taking your dog for a walk provides a healthier lifestyle because you a forcing yourself to take a walk or run. Also, because many pets must run on a regular feeding schedule, exercise schedule, etc., this can allow humans to adopt a schedule of their own that can promote less stress. In order for this stress to be maintained, it is said that "[s]troking a dog lowers blood pressure" and allows the owner to feel a wave of relief over their body. This proves that owning a fury-friend can allow humans to live healthier and enjoy life just as much, maybe even just a bit more.

Killer Cell Phones

Try to think of a way that a cellphone may physically harm you. You probably can't. Most people are unaware that cell phone radiation poses a threat to our well-being. In this article, the company RFsafe writes about how cell-phone radiation needs to be recognized as a bigger problem. RFsafe is a company that sells equipment such as cases that keep you safe from cell phone radiation. They may be biased towards the side of cell-phones being dangerous in order to sell more product, however they do cite evidence from many reliable sources such as professors and scientists.
The article argues that cell phone radiation needs to be recognized as a greater problem because too many people don't know the effects it can have on the body, and because the FCC needs to create stronger regulations over the cell-phone radiation allowed.

It is clear to many that cell-phones are not directly hurting us now, but "research on humans has found that 25 years of mobile phone use is associated with a three-fold risk of brain cancer". I didn't know this fact and I am sure there are many others who have no clue of it either. There are many people trying to get the word out about this, but most people regard it as not a big threat. The same thing happened with global warming and look where it's getting us now. I think people need to start opening their eyes to the many things around them, and not just trusting the labels on the boxes, or the news. Things like this are harming us now but there is no way to know it is happening, this is because the damage doesn't show until it's too late.

The FCC regulations may not be as protecting as we need. "Current regulatory standards only protect us from thermal or heating risks; yet, many hundreds of laboratory studies have found that low-intensity, non-thermal exposure to cell phone radiation can promote carcinogenic mechanisms" Many scientists have tried to bring this to the attention of the FCC, but other than that no progress is being made. I believe with so many people using so many phones constantly we need to be positive that the phones being used are not hurting us. The next pandemic may be being bred right now without anyone knowing.

Who Was Here First

In a world of rapid urbanization, we often assume there are no tribes left isolated without external contact on Earth. But the Sentinelese people who inhabit the tiny island of North Sentinel that is part of the Andaman group of islands in the Bay of Bengal are living proof to the contrary. In a world of rapid urbanization, we often assume there are no tribes left isolated without external contact on Earth. But the Sentinelese people who inhabit the tiny island of North Sentinel that is part of the Andaman group of islands in the Bay of Bengal are living proof to the contrary.

According to an article from Atlas Obscura the Sentinelese tribe is considered to be one of the oldest tribes in the world.

Where is the Tribe’s Orgain
Perhaps no people on Earth remain more genuinely isolated than the Sentinelese. They are thought to be directly descended from the first human populations to emerge from Africa, and have probably lived in the Andaman Islands for up to 60,000 years. The fact that their language is so different even from other Andaman islanders suggests that they have had little contact with other people for thousands of years. This does not mean, however, that they live just as they did 60,000 years ago. Commonly described, for instance, as belonging to the ‘Stone Age’, they do in fact make tools and weapons from metal, which they recover from ships wrecked on the island’s reefs.

How Many People From the Tribe are Still Alive Today
Believed to number anywhere from 50 to 400, the Sentinelese have lived in isolation on the island for 60,000 years, resisting attempts by authorities and anthropologists to study their culture and integrate them into the modern world. And when someone wanders to their island, like it happened for two fishermen on January 26, 2006, they relentlessly murder them. So protective are the Sentinelese of their territory that an Indian coastguard helicopter that attempted to retrieve the fishermen’s bodies (they had been tossed into shallow beach graves after their killing) was greeted by a volley of arrows from the tribesmen that prevented the craft from landing.

What Do the People Eat
Their diet consists mainly of coconuts and fish that can be found in the shallow waters around their shores. Based on observational data, they are hunter-gatherers, as agriculture is not known to them. Their meat consists of turtles and small birds found on the North Sentinel Island.

Is the Tribe Healthy
The islanders are clearly extremely healthy, alert and thriving, in marked contrast to the two Andaman tribes who have ‘benefited’ from Western civilization, the Onge and the Great Andamanese, whose numbers have crashed and who are now largely dependent on state handouts just to survive. Pressure from Survival and other organisations has led the Indian government to alter its policy towards the Sentinelese, from attempting to make contact, to recognising that similar policies have proved disastrous for other Andaman tribes, and accepting that they have the right to decide for themselves how they wish to live. Underpinning this shift is the simple acknowledgment that the people themselves are best placed to decide what is in their own interests.

Why Is the Tribe Considered to be “Stone Age People”
If not for their metal-tipped arrows carved from hulls of wrecked ships, the Sentinelese would be described as Stone Age people. For instance, Sentinel canoes are constructed to fish in only shallow water. New Delhi has deliberately carried out little development in much of the tribal area, intending to preserve the culture of the tribes people and for fear that bacterial contamination may cause their extinction. As of now, the Sentinelese will be left to the isolation they had so vigorously defended over many centuries.

Question: What makes this tribe so different from everyone else?

What Organizations Are Working to Save Biodiversity?

People can talk about how much trouble the planet is in, and how animals are dying and biodiversity is flourishing, but what is actually being done to stop this from happening? The World Wildlife Fund and the World Nature Organization are just two of the countless organizations that are truly making a difference.

                                           http://payload.cargocollective.com/

The World Wildlife Fund (WWF) is one of the largest global wildlife preservation organizations, and they are rapidly taking action. The WWF focuses on different aspects of the environment, from endangered species preservation, to protecting other biomes, one of the most preserved being the forests. Forests across the globe are being destroyed for various reasons, and the WWF is working hard to protect these environments from diminishing. “WWF helps create and strengthen policies in the US and worldwide to deter illegally sourced timber. For example, in the US, our focus is the Lacey Act, created in 1900 to prohibit illegal timber and timber products from entering the US market. We are working to ensure full implementation of amendments to the act that were made in 2008—amendments that are already leading companies to make smarter sourcing decisions and monitor their global timber supply chains to avoid any illegal timber.” By creating these laws and policies for illegal timber, illegal traders and companies will not have any big countries to trade with, therefore they will not be able to make money and will discontinue their timber businesses, therefore there will be significant reductions in the amount of trees and vegetation that are being cut down, along with all of the animals inside those forests.

This is a great improvement and effort on the WWF’s part, and their laws and regulations are actually taking an effect, as a recent report on their website shows that illegal timber and forest companies have been reduced dramatically and many companies have been caught and ended due to the new policies. I think that not only the WWF’s effort to end illegal timber trade, but all of their hard work is having a great impact on our planet so far. WWF is also working extremely hard to save endangered species, as the changes in their environments, whether it be from deforestation to global warming, are causing them to adapt in all of the wrong ways. Luckily, the WWF will not give up in their efforts to protect these species, and keep their environments as stable as possible.

                                                   http://www.scienceclarified.com/

Another major conservation group is the World Nature Organization, which focuses a lot on marine pollution throughout the world’s oceans. The WNO strives to protect the oceans from pollution, and save the life that the oceans contain. One major goal of the WNO is to end dumping of toxic wastes into the ocean, a practice that has been outlawed, yet still is done today.

The WNO states that, “once in the oceans, these chemicals are absorbed by tiny organisms like plankton. The chemicals accumulate to high concentrations in the plankton’s bodies, which are eventually consumed by other animals. Each step in the marine food chain results in a higher concentration of the chemicals. For instance, polar bears can have contamination levels that are three billion times higher than the surrounding environment”. As I have talked about in a previous post, the toxic wastes and man-made materials that get into the ocean are causing the animals to adapt in negative ways, for example by consuming the products and chemicals, therefore ruining the whole food chain going forward.

Pollution is a major threat to the biodiversity of our oceans, and the WNO team up with governments of different countries all across the globe to put an end to the pollution, before all biodiversity there is lost. I think that the efforts put forth by the WNO are outstanding, and the fact that they reach out and team up with many different governments shows that they are capable of really getting something done for the oceans and hopefully helping the oceans prosper. Although the WNO does do extensive other actions to benefit the ocean animals, their main priority is to raise awareness about the problems and get the public involved and aware of the horrible effects of ocean pollution. I agree that getting the public’s attention and raising awareness is a phenomenal way to get everyone involved and work as a team to save not only our oceans, but our one and only home that is the Earth.

HOT DOG CHALLENGE

Many cities around the world have their own special cuisine or food, whether it's something from the sea or something sweet, they're all really special in it's own way. This video talks about three of the biggest cities in America, L.A., Chicago, and New York and their food. But most of all, this video is about how people think of each cities' most mainstream yet convenient food to get on the streets, the infamous American hot dog.
Video can be found "HERE" Since the thumbnail has spoilers.
http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia

The sausage was invented in Germany, and the hot dog was popularized in America. The New York dog is the most well known and original hot dog in America, and they even have their own stands like the picture above all around New York City.

The Chicago dog is the only one that doesn't have ketchup inside the bun, but instead includes the Vienna beef sausage, poppy seeds, Jalapenos, a whole pickle, and relish, which actually surprised the people from New York and Los Angelos.

The L.A. dog was the winner of the challenge, but why? It was because people enjoyed its creativity, such as adding bacon, mayo, and even grilled pepper and Jalepeneos, with a bit of Mexican style in it. People also liked how it had more flavors than the New York dog, and how it actually had less "stuff going on" than the Chicago dog.

Because of geography, people change the way a hot dog (or any other food) tastes judging by what the people living in the city like to have on their hot dogs. Whether it's by adding spicy Jalapenos or just squeezing some ketchup out of a bottle, people will keep on enjoying food in their own way.

Revolution

Nothing will ever be the same. These musicals changed theatre. This article talks about 10 musicals that changed theatre. The first one is Showboat with music by Jerome Kern and the book and words by Oscar Hammerstein II and opened in 1927. The final is The Producers with music and lyrics by Mel Brooks and Book by Mel Brooks and Thomas Meehan and opened in 2001. It’s won eight Tony awards since it came out and has pushed the limits with its fourth wall breaking theatre.

I have heard of showboat, but I had never thought about its significance in changing theatre. I enjoy the music of pal joey but have never seen it. I don’t really under how it changed theatre, but it has its merits. I don’t really like Oklahoma, but I see how it changed things in broadway and it important to consider. West Side story is a show that I like personally and I understand how it has changed things with its ballet and other dance sequences. I have never heard of hair before, but I like rock musicals and it makes sense that hair started. I have seen scenes and songs from Company that I have enjoyed and it makes sense that it would have changed things. Jesus Christ Superstar is one of my favorite musicals. It is one of the first rock operas and I like rock operas. Rent is my other favorite musical. It is a limit pusher and I like how it has influenced theatre. The Lion King is one of my favorite musicals and I like how it is a family musical that revitalized Times square. The produceers is also a limit pucher and is very funny. It made modern comedy what it is today.

In the future I plan to research people who have changed theatre.
