The end of mythology.

How did Greek Mythology end?


These were good sources because they had the best reviews. 

The greek religion Greek Mythology ended in the 9th century in the Mani Peninsula area of Greece, where the last pagans (person with religious beliefs)  were converted. The religion was dying out because of the rise of the non-native cults, particularly Christianity for hundreds of years.


However, it is hard to know when the religion had died out because each city had its own stories and heroes, there wasn’t a single unified religion.


After Christianity had become the official religion, the Byzantine emperors banned the old ways, and the penalties for opposing the law became permanent. This was the beginning of the end the polytheists
