India’s designers publicize a European look and traditional look to please all the extreme’s of a young women religion or jump into a more current and upcoming fashion.
A European look would entail more pizzaz and bright flashy colors. Something cool about most Indian clothes are they happen to made of lightweight materials such as silks and other materials similar to that. Designers use these materials because it is so hot in India. A traditional look would involve a more modest dress. In India’s case it trying to create beautiful and colorful headdresses or hijabs, as they are commonly known as. In another country such as the U.S you wouldn’t see as much market for hijabs because we have a good amount of Indians in our country but for sure not the majority like India bestows.
