Pass time of teens

BLOG POST BODY PARAGRAPHS:  (Broken into easy to read paragraphs, formatting font to make it easier to follow main ideas, etc.)
Group's overall essential question (e.g. How are people’s beliefs shaped?): How people’s geography effects how thye live and what they do.
  • My research question connected to essential question (How do movies and media’s portrayal of females after their views of themselves in society?): How does the location of where you are living affect your lifestyles and choices in life from around the world.
  • Brief paragraph on why you’re interested in this topic:
In Costa Rica, teens and kids are usually focused on school more than anything.  They enter college at the age of 15in one for the six colleges in Costa Rica.  I thought this was interesting because they’re pastimes, such as soccer and the beaches, come after school only.   I would think that people in these areas would spend more time outdoors rather than in school.  In Japan teens enjoy many pastimes that include reading comic books and flying kites because of the numerous kite festivals that are held in Japan.  In Russian, teens enjoy many games including chess and soccer, but also like ice sports because of the chilly weather.  I’m amazed at the selection in diversity of people and what people do with their lives because of where they live and what is available to them.  People are affected by these things because in some countries the government is involved in education and are stronger in some aspects of learning than others.
