Teen indeed are affected by the violence on T.V. one way or another. In the article "Does TV affect teens?" it talks about how the average child sees around 200,000 acts of violence before their 18th birthday. And most if not all of those come from watching T.V.. This is a ton of violence which can have a serios affect on teens. When a teen watches this much violence they usually become more aggressive and violent. Not to mention that they teens would be spending a lot of time watching T.V. so they wouldn’t be as focused on school work.

Does watching a lot of T.V. affect the health of a teen?
Yes, the health of a teen can be affected in a major why the watching T.V.. Weight gain is usually linked to T.V. because if you’re parked in front of a television then you are obviously not exercising, and they are taking time that they could be active and using it to snack and watch T.V.. Also watching shows can make teens unmotivated to exercise because they would think that they would rather be watching television.

Is there a way to have a health television experience?
There is a way to be able to enjoy your television experience and be healthy at the same time. If you control the amount you’re watching it can be a great experience. Make sure also that it is not distracting you from a better activity like exercise. If you maintain a health schedule and you can continue to watch T.V.. Then you’re in an ideal situation.
