Geography is destiny because the themes Movement and Interaction of Humans with the Environment show that in Western Africa, they need these resources to help them survive this horrible disease. Without these themes, they wouldn't be able to find a way to survive. These themes are a part of destiny because it allows us to have a future which will work as our destiny.
The Movement theme of geography is important when it comes to the destiny of our lives because it has the most reliable resources we need. For example, people, goods, and ideas. These three things can move from the United States to West Africa.
Without Movement, we wouldn't have doctors, medicine, or even ideas on how to treat and cure the patient. We need Movement in order to kill this deadly virus. In order to find ways to cure the virus, we need to be able to move these ideas to other countries, so they can try and figure out other explanations..Movement is your destiny because it helps prove whether or not you find a cure and live or don’t get the resources you need, and die.
The Interaction of Humans and the Environment of geography is also important because in order to find out if the vaccine/cure works, you need to be able to test it with a human. In the article Human trial of experimental Ebola vaccine to start next week by the Associated Press, it talks about how they had three human volunteers come in and be injected by the vaccine and see how they react to the effects.Without humans interacting with ways to cure the virus, we would have no way of fixing the problem and have no cure. The disease would eventually take over the body in time and kill the human. We need to be able to interact with others to be able to share ideas and make the problem fixable.

ReplyDeleteI agree with the fact that without movement, we wouldn't have doctors or the medicine to find a vaccine. I disagree with human experimentation. With more time, our doctors can find a vaccine without risk of harmful effects.
