Since Ted Kennedy passed the Illegal Immigration Reform Act, there has been a swarm of illegal immigrants. Many of these illegal immigrants have been caught and they brought their issue to the courts of America. Q: Has the government passed any laws that are based on this issue?

A:Obama has said to the Republicans to pass a bill. He has called an Executive Order expanding the concept of "prosecutorial discretion" to allow millions of illegal immigrants to stay and work in this country. The first thing Congress must do is make a border security bill. They want Obama to deal with the issue of illegal immigration or not talk about it. “The number of immigrants added to the labor force every year is of a magnitude not seen in this country for over a century,” Obama wrote in The Audacity of Hope. “If this huge influx of mostly low-skill workers provides some benefits to the economy as a whole… it also threatens to depress further the wages of blue-collar Americans and put strains on an already overburdened safety net.” Obama believes that immigrants will benefit the economy but hurt blue-collar workers.

Q: How Does Illegal Immigration Benefit and Not Benefit The US?

A: Illegal Immigration does have its pros and cons. Illegal Immigration can contribute to our economy because there are many new people getting jobs. The bad thing is that there may be a shortage of jobs for real Americans. Illegal Immigration can also make our culture more diverse and bring more cultural diffusion in our country. Illegal Immigration is bad though because many illegal immigrants are using ObamaCare and that makes many people angry.

Q: Why is the Government in a 2-Sided Argument?

A: Obama wants the executive order to show the government that they are in a fight that they cannot win. The government may make a bid to impeach the President because they don't like the road that the President is going down. Polls are fluctuating. The President has gone on a tour to get support on this issue.

After reading this article, I think the government should think more about this problem before making a decision. They need to explore the pros and cons of the problem and view the opposing side. This is a big problem in the world right now and it should be fixed.
