The Cold War is a war that mainly involved America and Russia. America’s disapproval of Russian policies post-WW2 brought about this Cold War. America was very avid in their disapproval of communism in the Eastern world and the Russians were not fond of this, which caused the two superpowers to engage in moral wars such as the space and arms race. . The Cold War wasn't really a war,but rather two countries were trying to prove to each other that they were better than the other. These two countries were America and Russia. They became engrossed in both the space race and the arms race. The space race was when both of the countries were trying to prove that they were the smartest in the terms of technological advancements making new feats to be sought after and the accomplish. This was done in various ways by sending various things into space and to the moon. The arms race was also quite similar, both countries were trying to prove they were stronger by making bigger and more powerful nuclear weapons and makig a lot of them.
