Your grades could be dropping by the second!

Teens are being affected by the t.v. no doubt, but is it always a bad way?  A big argument against the television is that it can affect teens grades. In the article How TV Can Affect Teens Grades it states “Even a moderate amount of television viewing can negatively affect a teen's grades.” This means that even watching TV small amounts on a regular basis can affect a teen student. Also in this article it states. “Teens who watched this amount of television or greater were less likely to complete homework and more likely to have poor grades, a negative outlook toward school and poor prospects for long-term academic success.” The quote shows some of the many effects on a student’s school work if they are watching TV too much.

Some people say that television does not affect teens brains and that watching TV in your teens years is safe. They talk about how many people have watched TV on a regular basis in their teen years and still be successful. This is most certainly wrong because the teen brain is affected majorly by TV, and this obviously can changed their motivation and study habits. Overall watching TV on a regular basis can changed a teens way of thinking, which in turn can affect a teen’s grades.
